welcome + quick note before you start

thanks so much for helping us beta test β€” seriously. it means a lot.
bettercampus gets stronger because students like you are willing to try early builds, break things, and tell us what feels off. this guide covers three things:

1) how to report bugs
2) how to install + run the beta
3) how to test effectively you don’t need to be technical. just explore, notice weird stuff, and send it our way

where to report

post all issues in β πŸ›ο½œbeta-bugs each bug should have its own thread so things stay organized.

what to include

  1. what happened?

short description of the bug.

  1. how we can recreate it

step-by-step actions we can follow.

  1. evidence

screenshots or videos, plus console errors.

  1. severity tag

add one at the top of your post:

  • major β€” breaks a core feature

  • normal β€” inconsistent or annoying

  • minor β€” small ui / cosmetic

how to include console errors

  1. right-click β†’ inspect

  2. open the "console" tab

  3. filter to "errors" (red icon)

  4. screenshot anything in red

after you report the issue

  • internal qa may dm you for details

  • you do not need to use linear

  • we'll create & track the bug internally

  • once it's fixed, we'll close your thread
