Issue with to-do list task chronology

How bad is this?: Not working

Hi! Whenever I add an assignment to the to-do list that wasn't a part of one of my courses initially, the list moves it all the way to the bottom if the due date is more than four days away. For example, I have a project that's due in a week, but when I make that actual deadline on the list, it moves that assignment all the way to the bottom, regardless of if there are any other assignments with later dates. It only moves up to the right spot when I make the due date within four days of today. However, now I redownloaded the extension but the tasks aren't even showing up when I add them to the to do list
