Image Cropping Issue

When I want to crop the image I’m uploading, the second I click one corner it autocorrects to a specific shape. I had assumed that maybe it was selecting the best shape to crop but when I submit it this way it shows incredibly blurry and squashed on the card, as shown in the video. Even if I change the card shape, the cropping shape stays the same as the rectangle it keeps auto-correcting to.
