what’s new at bettercampus ✨

we shipped a bunch of updates to make BetterCampus smoother, smarter, and way less annoying.

📚 study got better

• the Study page is getting a cleaner home screen so it’s way more obvious what you can make, like quizzes, flashcards, and summaries

• we’re fixing AI study bugs so generated quizzes are more accurate and less random

• quiz questions are being improved so they actually include the context you need to answer them

• source selection is getting cleaned up so it’s easier to tell what your study materials are based on

🎙️ notes got a big upgrade

• you can now use AI to transcribe lecture recordings

• we added better progress tracking so you can actually see how many transcription minutes you’ve used this month

• Smart Notes now show how many uses you have left

• we’re fixing issues with:

  • old transcriptions not saving

  • deleted notes not moving to Recently Deleted

  • audio playback bugs

  • extra weird scrollbars

🗓️ planner is getting way more usable

• you can now switch between Day, Week, and Month view

• planner and schedule got cleaner and easier to use

• task grouping and saved views are being improved so your setup sticks after refresh

• we’re fixing annoying planner bugs like:

  • all-day events acting weird

  • invalid class times

  • overlapping class schedules

  • dragged tasks losing their details

  • tasks being scheduled on top of classes or events

💳 trials and plans are clearer

• pricing pages and plan names are being cleaned up

• trial buttons will now actually reflect when you’re on a trial

• more features now show clearer usage bars, upgrade prompts, and plan limits

• failed payments are being handled better so you’re not left confused

🎨 themes and customization got polish

• background image experiences are being cleaned up

• background images should stay static when scrolling

• theme creation and publish flows are being improved so you can still apply your theme

• more theme and widget interactions are now tracked better so we can improve what students actually use

🛠️ lots of bug fixes

we’re also knocking out a bunch of annoying issues, including:

• sync button not opening the sync modal

• dashboard sizing not saving properly

• login popup scrollbar weirdness

• close button not working on some paywalls

• light mode switching back to dark mode

• planner URL still saying tasks

• print grades showing the sidebar

• loading states not showing correctly on some themes
